Calgary, Alberta, Canada Benevity Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We're also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we're as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more

As the Senior Event & Experiences Manager, you'll be responsible for strategizing, planning, executing and measuring the success of Benevity's in-person events portfolio — including local events, sponsored trade shows and our annual flagship conference, Benevity Live, which brings together 600+ purpose-driven professionals from around the globe.

You'll play a key role in driving pipeline growth and deepening engagement with our clients and prospects, ensuring every touchpoint reflects a world-class experience that embodies the Benevity brand. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with teams across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Operations, Sales (Land & Expand), and Customer Success to ensure events deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Plan, execute, and optimize Benevity's in-person events portfolio — including regional activations, sponsored trade shows and Benevity Live — maintaining a detailed budget and ensuring events come in under budgetary targets
  • Plan to and optimize for event pipeline target: Develop strategies and measurable objectives to ensure events contribute meaningfully to revenue and growth goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales and customer success to align event strategy with broader go-to-market initiatives
  • Oversee logistics and production: venue selection, vendor management, budget oversight, AV coordination, staffing and on-site execution
  • Lead pre- and post-event communications in collaboration with demand generation and content teams to maximize attendance, engagement and follow-up
  • Ensure a world-class attendee experience for clients, prospects and partners — bringing Benevity's brand and purpose to life at every touchpoint
  • Track and report on ROI for all events, including leads, pipeline impact and client engagement metrics
  • Manage relationships with external partners and event platforms (Cvent, Zuddl, etc.) to deliver seamless and scalable event execution
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, production, and execution — preferably within B2B SaaS (corporate giving a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage complex events end-to-end, with a focus on measurable business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of event ROI and experience using data to guide event strategy and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; you thrive on juggling multiple priorities with precision and calm
  • Deep client empathy and commitment to delivering a world-class attendee experience
  • Collaborative and proactive communicator, comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives and bringing internal stakeholders along
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and event management platforms such as Cvent or Zuddl
  • A creative problem-solver who brings new ideas and energy to every project
  • Expected travel 25%; must be able to travel to the United States and Europe
