Description
We're seeking a
Supervisor, CCS Audit & Logistics,
to join our Operations team in Brampton. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations, performance, and compliance of compositional audit activities under Ontario's
Blue Box Program
.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring all audits are conducted efficiently and accurately, while maintaining full alignment with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations. You'll lead and support a dedicated audit team, drive process improvements, and ensure reliable environmental performance reporting within the province-wide
Common Collection System (CCS)
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily audit operations
    to ensure all compositional audits under the Blue Box Program are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with program and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and support a team of recycling auditors
    , providing coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback to maintain productivity, data quality, and morale.
  • Monitor and review audit results
    , identify variances or data inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to sustain audit integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Manage logistics and inventory processes
    , including supply procurement, material flow, and vendor coordination to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Validate and maintain data accuracy
    across systems, ensuring compositional results, reports, and audit documentation meet client and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
    , including Contract Administrators and Receiving Facilities, to resolve operational challenges and improve process reliability.
  • Promote compliance and safe work practices
    through onboarding, on-the-job training, and adherence to company and legislative standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
    focused on optimizing workflow efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing environmental performance outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Operations Management
  • A minimum of 3+ years of Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • 3- 5 years of Experience with
    data verification, reporting, and compliance tracking
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office Suite
    (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 3 years of experience managing logistics and inventory in
    waste management operations
  • Knowledge of
    Circular Materials Ontario (CMO)
    reporting requirements and KPIs.
  • Understanding of
    EPR frameworks
    , waste diversion targets, and sustainability principles.
  • Familiarity with
    Ontario Health and Safety regulations
    and compliance best practices.
