About the Role: Manager, Business Development
We're growing - and we're hiring a Manager, Business Development to join our Sales team In this role, you'll help us develop top sales talent, drive pipeline growth, and optimize sales processes within a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll lead our Business Development Representative (SDR) team and report directly to the SVP of Sales, playing a key role in shaping the future of our sales organization. You'll collaborate closely with teammates across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product, contribute to a high-trust environment, and play a direct role in shaping the future of the industry.
About You
You're not just looking for a job — you're looking for a place to do your best work. You bring:
- A community mindset — You see customers as partners and coworkers as collaborators. You lift others up, always follow through on your commitments, and thrive in a team that does the same. (Community First)
- Momentum and ownership — You act with optimism, take initiative, and turn ideas into results. You move fast and bring others with you. (Fast Forward)
- Vision and boldness — You don't just react — you anticipate. You think big, challenge the status quo, and push the work (and the industry) forward. (Ten Steps Ahead)
- Joy in the craft — You care deeply about what you build and how it makes people feel. You bring thoughtfulness, transparency, and a sparkling sense of humour to the table. (Delightful Work)
What You'll Do
Here's what you'll do:
- Lead and develop a team of SDRs: Recruit, hire, train, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to a team of early-career sales representatives to ensure their success and career progression.
- Drive and optimize the sales pipeline: Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and fill the sales pipeline to meet or exceed company quotas.
- Track and analyze performance metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, lead volume, and activity metrics. Use data-driven insights to provide feedback, improve team performance, and forecast sales accurately.
- Enhance sales processes and tool utilization: Manage the day-to-day use of CRM software (Salesforce or HubSpot) and other sales engagement tools to ensure efficiency, data integrity, and best practice adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align strategies, optimize lead generation, and ensure a seamless handoff of opportunities.
What You Bring
Some of the qualities that help you thrive in this role:
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive OR 2+ years of experience as an SDR or Sales Manager
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS sales environment.
- 2+ years of experience in outbound prospecting.
- Moderate to expert proficiency with either Salesforce or HubSpot.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The desire and passion to lead and develop early-career sales representatives.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management abilities.
- Comfort working independently and asynchronously, while also prioritizing collaboration and connection with people
- Experience (or excitement for) working with AI
- Bonus: Familiarity with the promo industry or creative agencies
Compensation & Perks

- Remote-first culture (with plenty of excellent in-person experiences sprinkled in)
- Company-wide closure between December 25th and January 1st
- Health and dental benefits, including a $1,000 healthcare spending account
- RRSP/TFSA contributions up to $3,000 a year (no employee contribution required)

We're remote-first, but if you're based in Toronto, even better. That's where we were founded and where we maintain our HQ today
