Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to join our Edmonton team. This role blends project coordination and customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for our clients throughout the project lifecycle. From confirming orders to coordinating materials, scheduling installations, and managing follow-ups, this position ensures each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication and problem-solving skills, and enjoys being the central hub between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers after project handoff from sales.
- Coordinate project timelines, ensuring materials are ordered, received, and available ahead of installation dates.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to track order statuses and resolve delays.
- Organize and dispatch job coordinators, ensuring site visits are scheduled efficiently.
- Create and distribute complete job packages for installers, ensuring all drawings, materials, and instructions are accurate.
- Monitor project progress and follow up with installers, clients, and schedulers to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain clear communication between departments (sales, drafting, production, scheduling, and service).
- Record and report on project progress, materials, and customer communications.
Proactively identify potential scheduling or material conflicts and resolve them before they impact production.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project coordination, construction administration, or customer service considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized under pressure.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and materials considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and CRM systems considered an asset
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
