Payroll Specialist — Corporate Head Office (Brampton, ON)

Bring your payroll expertise to a fast-paced corporate environment where accuracy, compliance, and service matter. We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end Canadian payroll and be a trusted partner to HR, Finance, and our employees.

What you'll do

  • Run full-cycle, multi-province Canadian payroll (on-cycle/off-cycle), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and file year-end and statutory documents (e.g., T4/T4A, ROE) and submit remittances to CRA; coordinate as needed with Revenu Québec for QC employees.
  • Conduct pre- and post-payroll audits; reconcile payroll results and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain employee records and updates for hires, terminations, leaves, benefits, vacation, and statutory deductions in the payroll/HRIS.
  • Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality; partner with HR/Finance on reporting and month-end tasks.

What you bring

  • Proven experience processing Canadian payroll in a corporate or multi-site setting, with solid knowledge of employment standards and statutory requirements.
  • Hands-on skills with leading payroll platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, or UKG (we'll train on our stack if you bring one of these).
  • Strong Excel/reporting ability and a detail-first approach to reconciliations and audits.
  • Discretion with sensitive data; clear, service-oriented communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Quebec payroll/tax filings (RQ/CNESST).
  • Exposure to benefits administration, WSIB/EHT, and garnishments.
