Join our professional and energetic automotive team We're seeking an experienced Automotive Service Sales Representative (10+ years) who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. This position offers a 4-day workweek (Wednesday–Saturday), competitive compensation, and a chance to manage shop operations with autonomy and pride.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a highly skilled Automotive Service Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have over a decade of hands-on service sales experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage both customers and shop workflow efficiently.

You'll play a critical role in maintaining smooth operations — from opening to closing — while ensuring every customer receives transparent, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the shop daily, following safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Greet and assist customers with professionalism, enthusiasm, and product knowledge.
  • Write detailed work orders and accurate estimates for parts and labour.
  • Source, order, and verify parts to ensure efficient turnaround times.
  • Maintain and process daily paperwork, invoices, and payments accurately.
  • Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
  • Clearly explain diagnostics, recommendations, and maintenance options to customers.
  • Confidently sell and promote recommended services based on trust and value.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business and strong client relationships.
  • Complete end-of-day closing duties, including balancing daily sales, cash reconciliation, and shop readiness for the next day.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive service sales or advising.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including shop management and invoicing software.
  • Deep understanding of automotive systems, parts sourcing, and repair operations.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage opening and closing responsibilities independently.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with a professional and team-oriented approach.
