A leading Canadian manufacturer in the food and consumer products sector is seeking an accomplished Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its finance leadership team in Brampton, ON. This fully onsite role offers an opportunity to make a measurable impact by driving performance insights, process improvements, and strategic decision-making across a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager, FP&A will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, while providing analytical support to operational leaders. The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen with business curiosity, using data to tell the story behind results and support continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior and operational leaders to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess business performance, cost drivers, and future growth scenarios.
  • Analyze operational and financial results, providing actionable insight on trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Prepare clear financial presentations and reports for executive decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data visibility.
  • Leverage Power BI and other analytical tools to deliver performance dashboards and KPIs.
  • Support business cases, pricing models, and investment analysis for new initiatives and projects.
  • Evaluate manufacturing and supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business performance roles.
  • Experience within the food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data modelling; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics F&O and Power BI an asset.
  • CPA, CA, or CFA designation (or progress toward) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable challenging the status quo to drive improvement.
