Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, companionship, and support with daily activities. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or working with people with disabilities is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need while developing valuable caregiving skills.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient-centered care tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary
  • Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
  • Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when required
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to care plans designed by medical professionals

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care is preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities
  • Strong caregiving skills with compassion, patience, and empathy
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Ability to handle medication administration accurately and responsibly
  • Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in client environments
  • Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and schedules
