About the Role
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Hydroseeding Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of Perennial Hydroseeding. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends fieldwork, project management, and team coordination. The successful candidate will ensure every project runs smoothly—from planning and logistics to completion and client satisfaction.
You'll be responsible for obtaining leads and jobs, managing crews, scheduling, maintaining equipment, and overseeing quality control. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a outdoor environment and wants to grow within a company that values initiative, accountability, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee hydroseeding operations from start to finish
- Supervise and support crew members, ensuring safe and efficient work practices
- Manage project schedules, materials, and equipment logistics
- Track costs and assist with budgeting to ensure projects remain profitable
- Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and management
- Monitor field performance and ensure all jobs meet company standards
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in landscaping, construction, or environmental services
- Knowledge of hydroseeding, seeding applications, or erosion control is an asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver's licence, DZ licence is necessary
- Comfortable working both in the field and in the office
