What you will do
  • You will lead multiple project teams to develop and deliver large and complex projects through all stages of hardware and software development
  • Work with the business development team and technical leads to define scope, schedule and cost for new business opportunities
  • Work with the client to define and meet expectations, for project scope, schedule and cost, throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Lead and guide the project team to deliver the project, while following customer or Syntronic agile process 
  • Coordinate integration of hardware, software, firmware & mechanical developments
  • Manage and review product development documentation (Requirements Specifications, System Specifications, Design Description Documents, Design Verification Test Plans & Reports, Product Manuals, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other development disciplines, including HW developers, to integrate and deliver complete systems
  • Report concise project status to the client, senior management and other stakeholders
  • Build and develop long term relationships with client stakeholders across multiple projects
  • Identify, mitigate and manage project risks and issues, and escalate as needed
  • Manage and review product development documentation
  • Increase team effectiveness by measuring and improving processes and tools
What you need to get the job done
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of software and/or hardware development experience
  • 5+ years of scrum master or technical project lead experience working across functional teams
  • Proven business acumen and capability to translate client needs into actionable project plans. Comfortable leading external meetings and ensuring business and technical goals are aligned. MBA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a customer facing role is critical
  • Successful delivery of two or more products to market through full development lifecycle
  • Experience planning and delivering integrated hardware and software products
  • Experience motivating, mentoring and guiding a diverse development team, both virtually and face to face 
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, including managing communication with clients
  • Experience in reporting progress to stakeholders (clients, product owners, project leads etc.) in a concise manner
  • Experience in defining requirements and estimating project scope 
  • Working knowledge of one or more SW development domains: full stack iOS or Android mobile apps, web apps, embedded SW, Cloud
  • Working knowledge of one or more HW development domains: RF HW, Digital HW, Mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of UX design and experience interacting with UX design teams
  • Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence (Atlassian tool chain), Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, Teams and Office
