Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems. The Electrician will work on both new construction and renovation projects, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality electrical solutions.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to perform precise work on low voltage and high voltage systems
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on experience in construction or renovation environments
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices used in electrical work
  • Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Maintenance Person experience or general construction skills are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
