Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for the position of Regular Full Time Educational Assistant based out ofÉcoleWestlock Elementary School. This position will begin January 5, 2026 and ends June 25, 2026.

Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 16 community schools including two Hutterite Colony Schools and two outreach schools. The Position

The successful candidate must be self-directed team player who is interested in working primarily one-on-one with complex needs children. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday at 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, following the school calendar.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with complex needs and behaviorally challenged students would be an asset
  • Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
  • Able to work as a member of the school team
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
  • SIVA Training would be an asset
  • First aid would be an asset
