CodeRise Technologies (Canada) is hiring a highly skilled IaC / DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract with a leading enterprise customer.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on engineer with deep cloud automation experience.

Role: IaC Terraform Engineer (Contract)

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Canada (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform (expert level)
  • Implement configuration automation using Ansible
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python
  • Build and maintain CI/CD workflows with GitHub / GitHub Actions
  • Ensure secure, scalable, modular IaC aligned with enterprise standards
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document infrastructure

Required Skills

  • Terraform – advanced modules, reusable patterns, state and workspace management
  • Azure Cloud – strong hands-on experience with compute, networking, storage, IAM
  • GitHub / GitHub Actions – pipelines, workflows, automation
  • Ansible – configuration automation
  • Python – scripting for automation
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, infra security, and IaC best practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale enterprise cloud environments
  • Azure cost optimization and security hardening
  • Strong documentation skills

Ideal Candidate

  • Based in Canada
  • 5–8 years of hands-on IaC/DevOps experience
  • Clean, modular IaC coding habits
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment
