This contract runs from the beginning of January to the end of April 2026.
Workplace Arrangements:
This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Laval Office, 1001 Bd du Curé-Labelle, Laval, QC 2 days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Giant Tiger is seeking a
Softgoods Intern
from the following programs: Fashion, Business, Marketing or Administration.
As the
Softgoods Intern,
you will work closely with the Global Sourcing Softgoods team and have the chance to develop transferable skills and experience for your resume at a top Canadian retailer Your responsibilities will include supporting the fit technicians and production team as well as various administrative duties.
Softgoods Intern,
Role Highlights:
- Work with various individuals from the Softgoods buying team
- Support Buying team in Ad Hoc projects, presentations, or report building (where applicable)
- Category/assortment administrative support: sku creation, colour cards, purchase logs and flyer boards
- Support in product sample management
- Coordinate and support product development and assortment activities of the Category Team
- Attend business meetings alongside the buying team and support teams
Softgoods Intern,
Candidate Requirements:
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Fashion, Business, Marketing or Administrative program
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Desire to conduct clerical and administration based tasks
- Ability to exhibit patience when performing repetitive tasks, ensuring consistent quality
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
