Position Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will spearhead high-impact commercial data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with our clients' strategic goals, timeline, and budget. This role requires a deep blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on project management to drive operational success and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using scheduling software Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, product managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to create and manage project workflow.
- Analyze project progress and identify any potential delays or issues, recommending solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular status meetings to monitor project timelines and update stakeholders on progress.
- Prepare reports to communicate project scheduling status to management and team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and project specifications in all scheduling processes.
- Coordinate with procurement and resource management to ensure timely availability of materials and labor.
- Continuously evaluate scheduling processes and implement improvements for efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and concerns.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree four-year college or university; or 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience as a construction scheduler or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling techniques.
- Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
