The Opportunity:

The Content Writer is responsible for creating impactful, engaging, informative, and high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and supports our marketing, communication, and profile growth objectives. This role will help elevate Fintel Connect's brand as a thought leader and support our brand credibility.

We are seeking a creative, resourceful and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our marketing team in the Vancouver office. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-impact content across multiple formats, including blogs, website copy, social media, email campaigns, and thought-leadership articles (case studies, reports, guides). This role requires a strong grasp of storytelling, SEO/GEO best practices, and the ability to adapt tone and messaging to suit different stakeholders, audiences and platforms. The Content Writer will work closely with marketing, customer services, external partners, and the senior leadership team to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with company goals.

The Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit original content for blogs, websites, newsletters, social media, whitepapers, case studies, and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other internal stakeholders to that align with business objectives.
  • Optimize content for SEO/GEO and monitor performance metrics to refine future content.
  • Ensure all written materials follow brand guidelines, tone, and messaging standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across various departments and with internal design resources.
  • Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders and research to create authoritative and credible content.
  • Become the SME for Fintel Connect's tone and voice and be able to produce content on behalf of the executive team.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging content strategies.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in marketing, digital media, or related industries.
  • A critical thinker with demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling, and creative content across multiple formats.
  • Experience in B2B (SaaS), especially marketing complex products/services .
  • Familiarity with SEO/GEO best practices, keyword research, and digital analytics tools.
  • High attention to detail with strong editing, proofreading, and research skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience with CRM (Hubspot) and content management systems, such as WordPress, is an asset.
