Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders into our systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel a. Your attention to detail and ability to manage data efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our order processing department.

Duties

  • Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.
  • Maintain and update databases with order information.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including creating pivot tables as needed.
  • Assist in filing and organizing documents related to order processing.
  • Conduct data collection and transcription tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including clerical tasks related to order entry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data entry and clerical roles.
  • Familiarity in Transport/logistics is prefered
  • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Basic math skills for order calculations and inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous office experience is a plus.
