Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety protocols
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently
  • Provide friendly and prompt customer service, including serving food and assisting with inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Follow food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Restock supplies and assist in kitchen duties as needed during shifts
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
  • Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and proper kitchen hygiene procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
