Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient server to join our restaurant team. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is required, along with strong communication and time management skills. Must be available to work morning shifts and must be experienced with popular breakfast menu items

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions with proper cash handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving processes
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality; restaurant experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory
