Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. They will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have a broad range of technical skills.

Key Responsibilities includes, but are not limited too:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, minor plumbing work and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles.
  • Providing property maintenance services for various locations throughout Orléans.
  • Repair and install fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
  • Maintain the exterior grounds of various properties, including tasks such as lawn mowing, trimming and general landscaping.
  • Snow removal: Tractor Operations, Shoveling, etc. (flexible hours during winter)
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in basic plumbing, mechanics and carpentry work.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work at heights if necessary.
