WAREHOUSE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING

Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations. Prepares items for shipment ensuring cost effective freight/courier services.

Intermediate computer skills required. Basics of Microsoft excel/word. The job requires you to type quickly and efficiently and be comfortable at a computer.

Our warehouse is a fast paced work environment. Speed is important.

· Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm

· Position ranges from $18-$25/hr and is based on experience.

· Determine most economical and efficient shipping method.

· Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against po to determine quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

· Receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with po to verify accuracy of shipment.

· Process return shipments from customers.

· Delivers items to correct departments.

· Operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift, clamp truck and shrink wrap machine.

· Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvements.

· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.

· Pick and deliver product from warehouse and deliver to other departments for further value added.

· Perform safety checks on forklift and clamp truck.

· Replenish empty or box bunks. Tidy, remove waste, cardboard, and straps from box aisle.

· Secure building at end of day (lock doors, adjust heat, and turn lights off).

· Assist production when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
