You bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate, guide, and improve project quality

The candidate should be able to demonstrate, at minimum, the identified experience in the requirements mentioned below.

Relevant Experience Requirements:

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Health Sciences, Business Administration or similar disciplines is preferred, however, an equivalent of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated testing experience that includes the following types of testing: functional, performance, connectivity, regression, integration, and automation

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance and system testing best practices and methodologies

  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in a QA Team Lead role

  • experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy as it pertains to databases and application design and development.

  • Proficiency in 'open source' performance testing tools for web applications and web services like JMeter.

  • Advanced experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) in a QA environment

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance frameworks and experience with project methodologies such as Waterfall, Water scrum, Agile

  • Experience with supporting the User Acceptance testing process including working with the Business Owners and execution of Test Cases/Scripts, Defect Reporting and Resolution tracking etc.

  • Experience in HP Quality Center and HP WebInspect or similar product

  • Experience with Automation Testing tools – Eg. SOAPUI.

  • Experience working closely with multiple vendors on a single project. This work includes but not limited to: Test Plans, Test Cases/Scripts, Defect Reporting and Resolution tracking etc

  • Experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Records applications in a Canadian context.
