MetCap Living Management Inc. is one of the largest private third-party property managers specializing in multi-residential property management. We are a growth orientated company with our head office located in Toronto, Ontario and property operations in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

We're looking for a full-time Junior Property Manager to join our Nova Scotia team.

This role supports our Director of Operations and takes the lead on day-to-day building operations in Halifax and Bedford. It's a hands-on position that keeps you connected with people, from supporting site staff to ensuring residents love where they live.
A reliable vehicle is required for travel between properties. Mileage is paid.

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support building staff (Resident Managers, Assistant RMs, etc.)

• Work closely with our Leasing Agent to advertise and show apartments and process rental applications

• Help as needed to coordinate maintenance and service requests with contractors and staff

• Keep daily operations running smoothly and residents happy

• Assist with budget preparation, expense tracking, and vendor coordination

• Process and review Purchase Orders, ensuring accurate classification and coding

• Maintain accurate records for life safety systems, inspections, and compliance

• Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance, health, and safety standards

• Support reporting and capital project follow-ups as needed

What You'll Bring

• Experience in property management or a related field (Yardi experience an asset)

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Organized, adaptable, and confident using technology (Yardi, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

• A friendly, professional approach and a commitment to great customer service

• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
