About the Role
:
Havas Health Toronto is looking for an experienced
Account Supervispr
to join our dynamic team. As an Account Supervisor, you will lead key client accounts, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence, on time and on budget. You will play a vital role in building client relationships, growing business opportunities, mentoring team members, and supporting new business pitches.
1. Project Management
(Weighting: 60%)
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned brands, including therapeutic areas and brand strategy.
- Work with the Account Director to create and execute brand action plans.
- Liaise with clients, creative, production, and suppliers to ensure projects are on strategy, on budget, and on schedule.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with creative, digital, and studio teams.
- Lead preparation of PAAB submissions and responses for branded materials.
- Ensure agency workflow and financial processes are followed.
- Monitor EAS reports, re-estimate when needed, and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Prepare project briefs, estimates, and timelines; secure signed estimates or POs before starting major work.
- Provide timely contact reports, weekly status updates, and monthly billings.
- Log hours accurately in the EAS system.
2. Growing Existing Business
(Weighting: 20%)
- Identify opportunities to expand existing brands through multiple promotional channels.
- Review client brand plans and recommend strategic promotional initiatives.
- Challenge misaligned strategies or ideas that do not fit the brand's positioning or long-term vision.
- Develop compelling sell stories and support pitch delivery to clients.
3. Mentoring and Professional Development
(Weighting: 15%)
- Mentor and guide Account Executives, Managers, and Coordinators in their professional growth.
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires on agency processes and duties.
- Participate in agreed professional development activities.
4. New Business
(Weighting: 5%)
- Support senior leaders in preparing presentations and collateral for pitches.
- Conduct research on diseases, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscapes.
Required Qualifications
:
- Proven experience in client services/account management in a Canadian healthcare or pharma agency setting
- Must have strong working knowledge of PAAB
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and the science behind therapeutic areas
- Proven track record in project management, including budgeting, timelines, and client communications
- Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and leadership skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast-paced agency environment
