What You'll Bring

  • Licensed P.Eng., C.E.T., or LEL/LET.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services industry.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm, life safety, and auxiliary systems (IT, A/V, communications).
  • Experience with educational facilities preferred; exposure to commercial, retail, residential, or healthcare projects is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and Ontario codes (OBC, OESC, NFPA, IES).
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams, coordinating design documentation, and managing construction delivery.

  • Manage client and contractor relationships, and contribute to successful project delivery from design through construction.
  • Take ownership of all electrical system design—from distribution and lighting to fire alarm, generators, and life safety systems.
  • Conduct site reviews, manage change notices, and ensure technical excellence across all project phases.
  • Prepare and respond to RFPs and support business development initiatives.
  • Design a range of mid/high-rise residential, commercial, and institutional projects (new builds and renovations).
