Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and provide solutions for resolution.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient bookkeeping practices.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is maintained across the organization.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, including payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
