About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data / Financial Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is critical to building and optimizing our data and analytics infrastructure, enabling informed decision-making and driving financial performance across our dealership network. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with advanced data analytics skills to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions.
Schedule: Full-time
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year + 10% performance-based bonus

What Your Day Will Look Like
- Design and implement a centralized data warehouse and reporting infrastructure
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (sales, service, finance, CRM)
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to support strategic decisions
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple business units
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver actionable insights
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Who You Are
Technical Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or FP&A (automotive or retail industry experience is an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling)
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
- Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- MBA/CPA or CFA designation (or in progress) is an asset
- Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning tools is a plus
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability to evolving business needs
Requirement
Valid BC driver's license and vehicle for travel to lower mainland dealerships when required.
