About the Role:

CANEIL is seeking a Field Integrity Technologist – Pressure Equipment to support our growing inspection and asset integrity programs in the Lloydminster and Bonnyville regions, with additional coverage in the Slave Lake area. The successful candidate will be based out of Lloydminster and will coordinate and oversee field pressure equipment inspection and PSV servicing activities for oil and gas facilities.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, field experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage field pressure equipment inspection programs (vessels, exchangers, piping, etc.)
  • Oversee PSV servicing and ensure timely completion and documentation of inspection and testing activities
  • Work closely with inspection contractors, engineers, and plant operations teams to plan and execute integrity activities
  • Review and verify inspection reports, condition assessments, and repair recommendations
  • Support regulatory compliance with applicable jurisdictional and industry standards (ABSA, TSASK, API, NBIC, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and ensure data is captured within integrity management systems
  • Participate in field audits, site visits, and technical discussions with client representatives and operations personnel
  • Communicate findings, schedules, and priorities clearly to all stakeholders, ensuring operational alignment and safety compliance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pressure equipment integrity, inspection, or reliability roles
  • Working knowledge of pressure vessel, piping, and PSV inspection requirements and practices
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field sites within Alberta and Saskatchewan

Assets:

  • API 510 or National Board (NB) certification
  • In-Service Inspection (ISI) experience or certification
  • Experience working under an owner-user integrity management system
  • Familiarity with jurisdictional regulations and codes (ABSA PESR, CSA, API, NBIC)
  • Field safety training (H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
