Position Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Service Clerk to join our Rental Division team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with rental inquiries, processing rental transactions, and ensuring a seamless rental experience. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the operations of the rental department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding rental rates, terms, availability, and policies.
  • Process rental agreements, payments, and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure the accuracy of customer information and rental details.
  • Assist with vehicle check-ins and check-outs, ensuring vehicles are ready for rental.
  • Maintain an organized rental desk and keep track of rental inventory.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and professionalism.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the rental fleet.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely vehicle delivery/pick-up.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred).
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a rental or automotive environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
