As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. This is a service focused position.

Duties

  • Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
  • Participate in the assembly of plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Support construction activities related to plumbing installations.
  • Gain knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing work.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
  • On-call rotation is required.
  • Expectation is for the candidate to continue with their training and complete their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn more advanced skills.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage.
  • Understanding of basic math principles for measuring and calculating dimensions.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Experience with service in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Sting service experience is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
