Department Description – Size, Structure, Team Culture

  • CAE Group ~1,000 global professionals who function as 3LOD for the Bank.
  • Major Program Change Management – handles change, communications and training for major programs across CAE Group (small team of four, collaborative, creative, focused on user experience, Agile working model).

Daily Responsibilities – A Day in the Life

This role reports to the Director, Major Program Change Management and is specifically allocated to a program currently under NDA. The Manager, Training Design and Delivery will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering the training required (incl. structure, content and guides) to enable launch of a new technology tool and related processes.

This role partners closely with subject matter experts in both technology and process & methodology to understand the learning audience, assess their needs, and design materials and delivery channels. The incumbent will work closely with the Director, Major Program Change Management to align training approach and deliverables with overall change strategy. They will also interact with the Learning & Development team to ensure alignment to our guiding principles and standards. Delivering training metrics and tracking participation over time will be part of this role.

Auditsphere
is introducing a digitized audit process with a suite of tools that are a mix of existing, out-of-box and in-house builds.

Program/Technology/Software Knowledge Required

The selected candidate will use the following in the creation, delivery, and management of training content:

  • PowerPoint (expert level, for developing content)
  • Video software to support training content creation (e.g. Camtasia, GoAnimate, Adobe Premiere)
  • Online registration and survey tools (e.g. Slottr, survey tools without Microsoft platforms)
  • Video conferencing tools (e.g. Webex, Teams alternatives if required) for training delivery and engagement sessions

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

  • 7+ years of experience in a dedicated training role designing and delivering training for new technology in the context of highly regulated global enterprise; background in Audit, Risk, Compliance, IT transformation (e.g. ERP, EITSM) preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver training in virtual formats and independently create multi-media content (e.g. videos, tool overviews, How To guides) for a global audience
  • Comfort facilitating and leading sessions to support large stakeholder groups (e.g. attending audiences upwards of ~150 people; total stakeholder group size ~1K)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and visual), ability to tailor message to audience
  • Undergraduate degree and/or post-graduate qualifications in areas such as adult learning, teaching, training, instructional design, communications, HR required
  • Camtasia or Adobe Premiere expert

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience introducing new technologies or changes to existing ones within an organization, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption
  • Experience building learning strategies for digital communities
  • Experience working with social intranet platforms as a critical enabler of training delivery
  • Passion for creating persona-based user experiences that speak to needs of audience
