Summary of Duties:

Fulfilling the full range of high-quality medical administrative duties in a professional, confidential, patient centric, supportive, and detail-oriented manner. Working with Doctors in ensuring efficient operations of the clinic while performing related administrative tasks.

Other duties:

  • Caring for patients seeking medical attention
  • Scheduling regular patient appointments
  • Contacting patients with health-related information
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
  • Adhering to standards and expectations around delivery of patient care

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

  • Previous experience working in a busy doctor's office
  • Ability to thrive in a busy work environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Time management and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet the needs of patients in an empathetic and caring manner
  • Competent computer operating skills as we are a paperless clinic
  • Autonomy and self-direction
  • Up-to-date with relevant vaccinations
  • Experience working with EMR. Knowledge of OSCAR EMR would be an asset
  • Medical Office Administration course would also be an asset
