Position Overview

Security Guard Group is currently hiring a Full-Time Security Guard to join our dedicated team. This position is located at a site that is not accessible by public transportation; therefore, only applicants who own a personal vehicle and hold a valid G driver's license will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol and monitor assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
  • Maintain a strong security presence while remaining courteous and professional
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident and daily activity reports
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Operate and utilize security-related technology and systems
  • Follow site-specific procedures and respond promptly to emergencies
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Security Guard Group Limited with integrity

Shifts

  • 8-hour or 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, and overnights)
  • Full-time position with open availability required, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid CPR/First Aid from a WSIB approved agency
  • Valid G Driver's License
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Personal vehicle for travel to and from the site (mandatory)
  • Smartphone with internet connection
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Strong observation abilities and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently at night
