Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Winnipeg, MB for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, conducting tax research, and developing tax strategies. Day-to-day tasks also include providing tax planning advice, managing tax audits, and collaborating with the finance team to optimize tax processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of tax regulations, tax planning, and compliance
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns
  • Experience in conducting tax research and developing tax strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage tax audits and work collaboratively with the finance team
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • CPA designation or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related field
