Reporting to the foreman, our Drywall Installer/Taper must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.  They will follow project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, fit drywall on walls, ceilings
  • Cut and install protective corners to protect corner beads
  • Knowledge of suspended + fixed drop ceiling ie. T-bar, suspended drywall
  • Exterior steel stud framing - non structural
  • Exterior steel stud framing structural
  • Interior steel stud framing
  • Steel stud drops
  • Experience with power actuated tools, pin guns maintenance 
  • Experience with all typer of laser + leveling devices, such as plumb bobs + water levels

Requirements:

  • +2 years of working experience as a Drywall installer, steel stuff framer

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day working in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms
  • Must be able to climb scaffoldings.

  • Listens attentively and follows instructions carefully.
