We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal hfor individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in the industry.

Duties

  • Can do the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
  • Do renovation existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various tasks.
  • Work with low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Support industrial electricians in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
  • Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong individual initiative.
  • A maintenance person mindset with problem-solving skills to address various challenges on the job site.
  • Willingness to learn about low voltage systems and industrial electrical practices.
