Infrastructure Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain critical IT infrastructure for a
    24x7 energy trading environment
    .
  • Administer and configure
    Windows servers
    ,
    Active Directory
    ,
    Group Policy
    , and
    Microsoft IIS
    .
  • Develop and maintain
    automation scripts using PowerShell
    for system administration tasks.
  • Support
    cybersecurity operations
    and evolving security procedures.
  • Collaborate with an
    11-person infrastructure team
    to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience
    in each of the following:
  • On-Prem Administration
  • Managing and configuring Windows servers
  • Managing Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Managing and configuring Microsoft IIS
  • Writing PowerShell scripts for automation
  • Cloud Administration
  • Managing
    Azure Entra ID
    , including conditional access, identity governance, and basic RBAC administration
  • Monitoring and operational support using
    Azure Monitor
    ,
    Log Analytics
    , and Alerts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to testing before implementing changes
  • Passion for
    system administration
    ,
    cloud computing
    , and
    infrastructure
  • Ability to work under pressure with small outage windows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or certification in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or related field
  • Exposure to
    networking
    ,
    firewalls
    , and
    security monitoring tools
  • Experience with:
  • Windows clustering, Windows Services
  • Administering and supporting
    Azure IaaS workloads
    (VMs, networking, storage) within an enterprise Landing Zone,
    M365
    ,
    Entra ID
    ,
    Copilot
    ,
    Intune
  • Supporting
    Azure SaaS services
    such as Microsoft 365 integrations, Azure App Services, and related platform configurations
  • Working with Azure resource deployment tools such as
    Bicep
    and
    Terraform
    , including updating modules and performing controlled deployments
  • ITIL processes (incident, change, problem, capacity, release management)
  • Networking principles (switches, routers, SAN storage networks, load balancers)
  • Physical data center operations (racking, cabling, UPS, HVAC)
