For our Toronto-based client, a trusted plumbing and HVAC company specializing in residential and commercial services, including installation, repair, maintenance, and project management, we are seeking a skilled and licensed Plumbing Engineer.
This role plays a key part in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of plumbing and heating projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to seamless project operations, ensure compliance with safety and building codes, and maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Position: Licensed Plumbing EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plumbing system design, installation, and maintenance, accompanied by a valid plumbing license. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing plumbing projects while ensuring full compliance with local codes, standards, and company procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, and supervise plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects.
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and components.
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company quality standards.
Coordinate project activities with clients, contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
Monitor project timelines to ensure completion within schedule and budget.
Prepare reports, estimates, material lists, and other documentation as required.
Provide technical guidance and support to field teams when needed.
Valid Plumbing Engineer license (required).
Proven experience in plumbing design, installation, and project supervision.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage multiple ongoing projects.
Proficiency with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
