About the Role

EZ Path is seeking an Education Consultant to support students and families through the academic planning and post-secondary application process. This role involves providing guidance on course selection, university/college applications, background enhancement programs, and overall academic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and experienced in working with high school students.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic and post-secondary planning for high school students (G9–G12)
• Advise students on course selection, AP/SAT/IELTS pathways, and program planning
• Guide students through Canadian and international university application processes
• Support students with OUAC applications, document submissions, and deadlines
• Communicate with parents and students to monitor progress
• Recommend extracurricular, volunteer, and background enhancement opportunities
• Collaborate with the EZ Path team to maintain student records and reports
• Attend internal meetings, training sessions, or student check-ins as required

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with students or in education consulting
• Understanding of the Ontario education system (OSSD, course codes, pathways)
• Ability to provide clear academic guidance and recommendations
• Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple students
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications (Asset)

• Experience with OUAC, Common App, or other university application platforms
• Previous work in education, guidance counselling, or student advising
• IELTS 7.0+ or tutoring background in IELTS/SAT/AP
• Experience working with international students
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
• Ability to support writing tasks such as personal statements or supplementary essays
