POSITION TITLE: People & Culture Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: People & Culture

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager, People & Culture and Prince George Branch Manager

DATE: ASAP

The People & Culture Coordinator role is a dynamic, hands-on position which requires a keen insight for the bigger picture. The primary focus of this role is to work with stakeholders throughout our organization and to plan, direct, implement, and continuously review a variety of HR programs which enhance our employment experience, while keeping our organization compliant with legislation and on the forefront of trends.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Full-cycle recruitmentGather and analyze data and provide reports Liaise with various departments for projects and build collaborative relationships Develop, implement, and continuously review policies, procedures, and programs Share HR best practices with colleagues and mentor to bolster succession plan Assist with ensuring consistency in HR practices across branches Participate in and help facilitate company-wide community involvement. Provide support in various HR-related topics, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, development, employee relations, leaves, separations, compensation, benefits, engagement, rewards, and recognition. Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or education relative to job descriptionDemonstrated expertise in MS Office suite of products and database maintenanceOngoing interest in training and personal developmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProblem solving and conflict resolution ability Proven ability to embrace change and adversity in a rapidly growing and changing environment Knowledge and understanding of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights Legislation Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000



Education Requirements (All)

Certificate, Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
