We're looking for our next Manager, Events & Sponsorship Strategy. Could it be you?
The Manager, Events & Sponsorship Strategy will be accountable for leading the annual marketing, events and communications strategy for Community Trust as well as the execution of all marketing and event activities to support ongoing business objectives. This role is accountable for the overall implementation of event marketing activities to support the company's acquisition, retention and expansion efforts.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and lead the comprehensive strategy for Events, Sponsorships, and Partner Marketing, ensuring full alignment with Community Trust's broader marketing and business unit objectives.
  • Define, plan, and manage the national Marketing and Events budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate key business objectives and metrics into actionable marketing strategies and tactics.

External Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all national sponsorships (in collaboration with the Head of Distribution), maximizing value delivery and sponsor relations.
  • Collaborate with National Sales Managers (Mortgages & Deposits) to implement high-value strategies that increase partner awareness and drive business value.
  • Own and oversee the management and promotion of Community Trust's external rewards and recognition program.
  • Establish mechanisms to proactively identify and capture partner and customer sentiment from events, ensuring feedback informs future strategic direction.

Campaign Execution & Measurement

  • Direct and execute the full lifecycle of all event marketing campaigns, from initial concept and day-to-day management through final reporting.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), rigorously analyze campaign effectiveness, and provide insightful reporting on impact to relevant stakeholders and Product Marketing.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure all communication and content development is consistent with the Community Trust's marketing strategy.

Internal Operations & Support

  • Coordinate and support critical internal employee events, including town halls, all-hands meetings, and key milestone celebrations.
  • Act as the central Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, owning and executing key operational risk activities, including self-assessments, issues management, vendor oversight, and audit coordination.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc special projects as needed to support strategic corporate initiatives.

  • Have a post-secondary education
  • Have 5+ years' experience in marketing/brand management
  • Have the knowledge of financial services industry
  • Have experience with CRM and Event software platforms (e.g. Braze, RSVPify)
  • Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and best practices, with a passion for staying current on communications, social and content marketing trends.
  • Have proficiency with social media channels as they relate to event and brand communications
  • Have excellent writing, editing and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work with clients/vendors in a professional manner
  • Have hands on experience in event marketing and logistics
  • Takes ownership of tasks and drives projects through to completion
  • Are a reliable self-starter with attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Have excellent project management, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Have an insatiable curiosity and a constant drive to learn and improve

  • Please note this role will be required to be in office 3 days a week
