Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations at our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, managing a diverse team, and ensuring the highest quality of food and beverages. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
• Train, mentor, and schedule café staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor online platforms to ensure consistency with menus.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment to comply with health regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or new menu items.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in café management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• A passion for coffee culture and an understanding of beverage preparation techniques is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
