Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This role is essential to the overall operation of our food service, supporting both the kitchen staff and front-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and organized.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
  • Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
