SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Create and foster the development of new and existing long-term partnerships (public and private sector partners) with Ingenium and its museums. Partnerships may involve collaboration opportunities to help support and develop exhibitions, programming, special events, , and sourcing financial contributions for broader Ingenium/Ingenium Foundation efforts. This position supports the development of an overarching partnerships strategy and contributes to the financial resilience of Ingenium as a whole.

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Commerce with a specialization in Marketing or Sales;
  • An acceptable combination of education and experience in a related field will be considered;
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) is an asset.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sponsorship, marketing, communications;
  • 3 to 5 years of partnership development, building corporate level relationship and nurturing donor relations;
  • Experience in the field of agriculture and agri-food is an asset;
  • Experience with CRM database and reporting tools.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Extensive knowledge of the sponsorship industry and corporate philanthropy encompassing theories, principles and techniques of sponsorship and institutional giving program development which includes marketing, promotion, sales/negotiations and analysis;
  • An ongoing current knowledge of external stakeholders in the Agriculture and Food Industries, ", and sponsorship industry, to court and secure the "appropriate" partners;
  • Detailed knowledge of the application of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Extensive understanding of, and the ability to manage and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases;
  • Thorough understanding of partners and corporate donors' business and marketing objectives as well as corporate social responsibility.

  • Effective communication skills in both official languages to provide effective communications to both internal and external clients;

SOMMAIRE DES FONCTIONS

Le titulaire établit et cultive des partenariats à long terme, nouveaux ou existants (dans les secteurs public et privé) pour Ingenium et ses musées. Il peut s'agir d'occasions de collaboration pour soutenir ou élaborer des expositions, des programmes, des activités spéciales ou des occasions ou de recherche, ou pour obtenir des contributions financières pour des initiatives plus larges menées par Ingenium ou la Fondation Ingenium. Le titulaire soutient en outre l'établissement d'une stratégie globale en matière de partenariats et contribue à la résilience financière d'Ingenium dans son ensemble.

ÉDUCATION

  • Un degré en commerce avec une spécialisation en marketing ou en vente;
  • Une combinaison acceptable d'études et d'expérience dans un domaine connexe sera considérée;
  • Une certification en Professionnel des ventes certifié (CSP) est un atout.

EXPÉRIENCE

  • Trois à cinq ans d'expérience dans le domaine du parrainage, du marketing et des communications;
  • Trois à cinq ans d'expérience en développement de partenariats, d'établissement de relations au niveau des entreprises et d'entretien des relations avec les donateurs;
  • L'expérience dans le domaine de l'agriculture et de l'agroalimentaire est un atout;
  • Expérience des bases de données sur les CRM et des outils de rapport.

CONNAISSANCES

  • Connaissance approfondie des domaines des commandites et de la philanthropie d'entreprise, dont les théories, les principes et les techniques de mise sur pied de programmes de commandites et de dons institutionnels, et les activités de marketing, de promotion, de vente, de négociation et d'analyse.
  • Connaissances à jour concernant les intervenants externes dans l'agriculture et les industries alimentaires, afin d'être en mesure de solliciter et de rallier les partenaires « appropriés ».
  • Connaissance approfondie de Microsoft Office, d'Excel et de PowerPoint.
  • Compréhension approfondie des bases de données de gestion de la relation client (CRM) et capacité à les gérer et à les maintenir ;
  • Compréhension approfondie des objectifs commerciaux et marketing des partenaires et des entreprises donatrices, ainsi que de la responsabilité sociale des individus et des entreprises.

COMPÉTENCES
