Our goal is to continue to grow Contemar Silos. For over 30 years we have specialized as a leading Canadian Automated machine manufacturing company, is looking to hire a qualified licensed electrician to be responsible for electrical installations and service of bulk material handling equipment.
The ideal candidate has worked with mechanical installations crews, project preparations, bill of materials, and compliance with CSA and ESA standards.

Responsibilities
- Install, modify, repair, check, service, test and maintain all electric components, controls, control panels, electrical as well as electronic equipment in compliance with CSA and ESA standards
- Rough in and bend conduits, size wire to codes
- Organize project requirements, prepare bill of material and get material ready for shipment to customer locations.
- Document problems with existing equipment and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in all facilities and demonstrate safe work habits.
- Perform additional related duties as required
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship: Industrial Electrician License and/or Electrical/Electronics Technologist diploma
- Electrical Trade Certificate (442 or 309)
- 3-5 years experience within a manufacturing and installation environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Basic Mechanical skills and related competencies such as the use of power tools, hand tools and measuring equipment
- Past experience in material handling and bulk material processing is a asset.
Hours of Work
- Typically 7am - 3pm, must be flexible to travel in Ontario and USA, including occasional weekends for larger projects.
- Must be able to travel to the USA without any restrictions.
- O/T Availiable at 1.5x pay on large installation projects (Time & Travel Included)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
