Ready to lead projects that power connections across Canada? Dive into the thriving world of telecommunications at Encepta
We're hiring for multiple positions across BC, AB, and ON — from Project Coordinators to Project Managers — based on your experience and career goals.
Join our team to help deliver technical projects that build the infrastructure connecting communities nationwide. Whether you're an experienced Project Manager or an emerging Project Coordinator, you'll find opportunities to grow, learn, and make an impact.
In this collaborative environment, you'll be at the center of action—building relationships, solving challenges, and driving results. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about continuous growth, this is the opportunity for you
What You'll Be Responsible For
Reporting to our Manager, Operations, you will contribute to project success through various aspects of project management and coordination, depending on your experience level. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, technical field staff, drafters, engineers, and municipal partners, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing projects from planning to completion, including engineering, design, data analytics, field data collection, and utility construction
- Tracking and reporting on project metrics, status, productivity, and logistical details while identifying potential risks and issues
- Assisting with or leading the preparation of quotes, reviewing SOWs, and reaching consensus with clients on deliverables and expectations
- Facilitating communications with customers to prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present findings
- Contributing directly to the design, development, and inspection of projects as needed
- Supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure project success
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12–18 months, you'll be:
- Overseeing projects effectively while meeting timeline and budget requirements
- Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Coordinating and reviewing work of project teams
- Successfully managing project changes and adaptations
- Creating and maintaining project metrics and documentation
- Demonstrating growth in your technical knowledge and project capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Project Delivery Experience: demonstrated experience facilitating successful project delivery, team coordination, or management in telecommunications or similar technical domains
- Educational Requirements: University/College/Technical School Graduate or equivalent combination of experience and training; telecommunications or engineering background preferred
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management software, financial forecasting, metrics tracking, and Google Suite or Microsoft applications
- Project Management Excellence: Ability to plan projects, identify risks, manage ongoing projects, and create comprehensive status reports
- Strategic Communication: Strong ability to communicate professionally with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Well-organized, time-conscious, and results-focused with demonstrated ability to break down problems into manageable segments
- Resilience: Capacity to bounce back from challenges and adjust course
What's In It for YOU?
We know that when you grow, we grow. That's why we offer more than just a job, we offer a launchpad for your career:
- Real impact: help expand critical infrastructure that connects communities across Canada
- Career growth: opportunity to advance your skills and develop into senior roles within project coordination or technical expertise
- Hybrid work model: flexibility to work remotely, in-office, and on-site as needed
- Competitive compensation: including performance incentives
- Comprehensive benefits: extended health benefits (dental & HSA), RRSP matching, cellphone allowance, learning budget, and wellness support
- Learning support: access to certifications, training, and a team that invests in your development
- Collaborative, inclusive culture: we value your voice, your safety, and your contribution
