We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
  • Assist servers by providing additional utensils, and addressing guest needs promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by clearing tables and removing any used dishes or utensils.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or modifications to orders.
  • Support the team during peak hours by assisting with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations while handling food items.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
