Parking Lot Attendant

THE OPPORTUNITY
As the first point of contact and being one of the Ambassadors of the Club the Parking Attendant is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Club's two parking lots. This role will meet and greet members and guests, answer their questions and direct them to the proper location if required. Assist with snow removal and sanding of Club walkways, decks, stairs, parking areas, etc. when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Politely and effectively communicate information to members and guests concerning the day's scheduled activities, evening social events and locations, and any other related information.
- Keep vehicles clear of fire lanes and no parking zones.
- Directing vehicles to designated parking areas.
- Assisting members and guests with finding parking spaces.
- Ensuring the parking lot is free of obstacles and maintaining cleanliness.
- Monitoring the lot to ensure proper traffic flow and safety.
- Back up driver for the Club's shuttle van.
- Supporting the cleaning of the shuttle van when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with customer service would be an asset.
- Class G license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in outdoors in various/changing weather conditions.
- Perform all tasks safely in accordance with the health and safety policies.
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding activities e.g., snow shoveling, walking up and downstairs, standing for long periods of time.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team environment.
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity.
