Sales Supervisors
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for performing all functions relating to merchandising, customer service, and general store operations. Each Supervisor is assigned a primary area of responsibility relating to merchandising, customer service, or administrative functions, and all supervisors act as relief for one another. As first line management, Supervisors are responsible for directing employees toward achieving Company objectives and for effective and financially responsible daily operation of the store.
In addition to the above duties, this is also a customer service position which requires a great deal of customer contact. Accordingly, applicants must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while at the same time providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
Minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
- The endorsement of your Store Manager, supported by a letter of recommendation.
- A current performance review indicating that you are considered ready for promotion.
- Successful completion of all management training courses that are mandatory for your current position (refer to the current Required Training chart on the Employee Portal).
- Initiative to develop supervisory skills through experience and training; a willingness to accept responsibility.
- Proven merchandising and customer service skills.
- A high degree of productivity; drive to complete tasks.
- A positive, mature, outgoing leadership style.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A basic understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Basic leadership skills and conflict resolution skills are considered assets.
