Job Skills / Requirements

We are currently looking for High Profile Security Guards to join our team for a shopping centre site in Downtown Vancouver. This is an on-call position with full-time hours provided and room for growth. You will be responsible for covering various shifts throughout the week.

Shift Availability: Must be open to work any 5-days of the week (Sun-Sat), either Graveyards hrs), OR Mornings & Afternoons.

You are a good fit if you have:

A valid BC Security Worker License6 months to 1 year of experience in security or customer serviceCustomer service experience in Downtown Vancouver is an assetExperience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong comprehension and report writing abilityGood work ethic and professional deportmentCheerful and helpful customer service approachPhysically fit - walking 20k-30k steps per shift is expectedLegal authorization to work in CanadaAST certification is an asset

Job Responsibilities Include:

Conducting regular foot patrols throughout the siteHandling evictions and interacting with individuals under the influenceDaily interaction with police, public, clients, and tenantsManaging situations involving narcotics and aggressive behaviorWriting detailed incident reportsMonitoring CCTV and communicating via radioEnforcing property rules and bylawsSupporting emergency responders as needed
